Behind a closed door, two creative directors I deeply admired approached me with an unexpected opportunity: the chance to transition from a Print Senior Art Director to a Digital Senior Art Director. But here’s the thing—this wasn’t an open position. It didn’t even exist. It was created just for me because they saw potential in me that I hadn’t yet seen in myself.

That moment was pivotal—filled with excitement, a bit of nervousness, and, most importantly, overwhelming support from leadership.

Making the switch to digital expanded my skillset, pushed my creative thinking into new spaces, and ultimately opened doors to management opportunities and leadership roles. That leap of faith, backed by a team that believed in me, set the foundation for my growth as a leader and strategic thinker.
